Meet Our Owner and Founder
Owner and Founder
John Smith the owner and founder of The Mean Green Carpet Clean. Was born in Takoma Park, MD, and continues to raise his daughter here because of the city’s cultural diversity and noted devotion to environmental awareness. He attended Saint John’s High School in Silver Spring and was a Dean’s List student at Montgomery College where he studied Business and General Studies. His interest in the environment stems from his passion for hiking, biking, and backpacking. John is particularly fond of taking seasonal camping trips in West Virginia several times a year. Starting The Mean Green was a labor of love for him and a way to incorporate my 15 plus years of carpet cleaning experience into a business that operated from an environmentalist standpoint.
